Sessle B's Pottery is a family-run business in Lismore, Northern Rivers NSW. Seth (art teacher and potter) grew up in Adelaide while Lara (writer and foodie) is Lismore born and bred. Seth and Lara and their three young boys experienced the surreal event of the flooding of their home studio and house in the catastrophic 2022 floods, their creative pursuits were put on hold. But amongst the loss came blessing with the opportunity to purchase a beautiful historic building in the heart of Lismore, perfect for their dream. Determined to remain positive for the future of the town and to invest into its cultural regeneration, they bought the building and worked hard at (again) restoring a flood-affected premises to bring it back to it’s former glory and beyond. Now they are the proud owners of a boutique space that boasts both a workshop and a function room complete with its own bar and kitchen for intimate events. Seth and Lara are extremely excited to offer the community a taste of the joy of playing with clay, along with other amazing workshops and events that will be offered along the way.
